Dear Homeowners,

Summer is here, and the month of July is bursting with all kinds of family fun right here at Smuggs and the surrounding area. We would like to share some of the events you really don’t want to miss this season.

SNHA Annual Meeting- July 7th

It is finally here, and we really look forward to seeing you all at the SNHA Annual Meeting. The business meeting will take place in the morning following breakfast at the Meeting House. Stay tuned for a full agenda of the day’s events.

The Annual SNHA Pot Luck Picnic is scheduled later that afternoon from 5:00- 6:30 under the tent on the Village Green. This is a great way to spend time with your neighbors, SNHA Board Members and Staff. We ask that you bring a side dish to share as SNHA will be providing the picnic staples and drinks. It is important that we have an accurate count so please contact Tracy tracy@snha.net and let us know if you plan to attend.

SNHA is also supporting the Cambridge Food Shelf and representatives will be on hand to take donations and share what they do for the local community. A recommended donation of $30.00 will be very much appreciated and will make all the difference to their Summer Lunch Program provided to local children.

Independence Day- July 4th

Start off the day in Jeffersonville on Main Street with a parade at 10:00 am. There is a carnival and games for the kids afterwards.

Then, its back to Smuggs at 5:00 pm for the BBQ, fair and the spectacular Veermont National Guard 40th Army Bank. At dusk, let the Fireworks begin!

Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival- July 6th- 8th

The 32nd annual event will host over 25 hot air balloons and it is quite a site to see! There are events for the children, live entertainment, and fabulous food. For more information see http://www.stoweflake.com/activities_balloon_festival.aspx

Waterbury Arts Fest- July 13th- 14th

Take a ride through the Notch to the town of Waterbury for this 2-day street fair. Friday hosts a block party and Saturday is the art festival. For details visit https://waterburyartsfest.com/

We hope you enjoy this summer season and a friendly reminder, if you bring your furry friends for a visit, please pick up after them.
