We hope you all are enjoying the abundance of snow and having a great winter season. The SNHA office is currently scheduling spring work. We encourage you to plan for your projects early in order to take advantage of some product offers available. We have an update to a past message and fun around town news to share.
Spring Projects 2019
Bath Fitter Spring Offer – Bath Fitter of South Burlington, VT is offering a discount of 10% off up to $450.00 on their acrylic bath replacement packages for a limited time this spring! Please note that this offer is only available through the South Burlington, VT office.
The Bath Fitter office has assigned Lisa Zingman to be a personal coordinator to any homeowner who wishes to participate. Please contact Lisa in order to start creating your new bathroom at LisaZingman@bathfitter.com or (802) 860- 2999.
The SNHA office will be working directly with Bath Fitter of South Burlington in order to facilitate this service. All orders must be secured no later than April 15, 2019. For more information please contact Tracy tracy@snha.net.
SNHA Water Heater Replacement Service – This is an annual service provided to homes that have electric water heaters. Notices went out in January to any homes that according to our records, have a tank with a warranty period that is due to expire. If you have received this notice, pricing and project details will be sent out as soon as they are finalized.
Please keep in mind should there be a leak and damage caused from your water heater, to qualify to use funds from the SNHA Insurance Reserve Fund, the loss must occur during the tank warranty period. If your tank warranty has expired, no funds will be available from the Insurance Reserve. The Association adopted this policy several years ago, when losses exceeded $300,000 from water heater failures that involved tanks whose life was beyond their warranty. Act 10 Short Term Rentals – The SNHA office referenced Act 10 in the August 2018 monthly message. If you received a notice from the Vermont Tax Department and are a self-renting homeowner this may apply to you. Please refer to the link below for further information.
