Some items from November we thought might be of interest:

1. El Dorado, formally El Zorro has been getting some good reviews locally. The restaurant is located at 87 Edwards Road, a right turn off RT 108 heading down the hill toward Jeffersonville. This marks owner chef Jack Foley’s third restaurant open and operating in the area. Jack also owns 158 Main and Jeffersonville Pizza. See http://158mainjpd.com/2014/10/29/eldorado-tavern-opening-thursday/

2. Now that the fall projects are coming to an end, do you have any furniture or appliances that need a new home? Cambridge 360 is a nonprofit organization that will accept anything of value (except older TV’s). They re-sell the donations with proceeds going towards their community center project. Cambridge 360 Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation for tax purposes. The link to the Community Center web site is http://cambridgevtcommunitycenter.com/. The link for Cambridge 360 is www.cambridge-360.org. Items can be dropped off during store hours or call Phil Rogers if you need help transporting larger items.

3. HOT SAUCE is here. SNMCo planned on rolling out their new computerized maintenance and housekeeping tracking system last week. Approximately 100 Smart Phones have been purchased and are provided to employees on the job allowing them to issue and enter maintenance requests immediately into the system, from the homes on the spot. Once the request is in the system it must be acted upon before it can be closed out. The goal is to increase efficiency and speed up response and prevent items from “falling through the cracks”.

4. Saflok card keys have expired and new ones were sent out to all participating homeowners. You should have received your new keys by November 26th. If you haven’t received your keys, contact Smugglers’ Security.

5. The SNHA Board is planning for our annual Holiday Gathering. It will be sponsored jointly by SNHA and Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Location with exact day and time will be forth coming, but expect it to be on the 29th or 30th at 4:30 PM.

6. Have a great month.

Best regards,

Bob Oehrlein
