Summer is finally here in Vermont. The resort is bursting with all kinds of family fun and the month of July does not disappoint. We hope to see you at many of the upcoming events this summer.
SNHA Annual Meeting- July 6th
This is the final reminder for the SNHA Annual Meeting taking place in the Lower Meeting House. Registration and Breakfast start at 8:00 am and the meeting begins at 9:00 am. If you are not able to attend in person, there will be a teleconference broadcast starting at 8:55 AM.

Questions before the meeting – Upon review of the agenda, you may have questions that you wish to have answered at the SNHA Annual Meeting. We encourage you to submit any and all questions to Cadi@snha.net before the meeting whether you will be in attendance at the meeting or not. Having questions before the meeting day will allow the Directors an opportunity to prepare for questions if the information is not already a planned part of the Directors’ presentations.
The Annual SNHA Potluck Picnic is scheduled later that afternoon from 5:00- 6:30 under the tent on the Village Green. This is a great way to spend time with your neighbors, SNHA Board Members and Staff. We ask that you bring a side dish to share as SNHA will be providing the picnic staples and drinks. Please contact Cadi Tourangeau cadi@snha.net if you and your family will be joining us.
SNHA is also supporting the Cambridge Food Shelf and a representative will be on hand to take donations and share what they do for the local community. A recommended donation of $30.00 will be very much appreciated and will make all the difference to their Summer Lunch Program provided to local children.
Independence Day- July 4th
Start off the day in Jeffersonville on Main Street with the Independence Day Parade at 10:00 am. There is a carnival and games for the kids at the Cambridge Elementary School following the parade.
It is then back to Smuggs at 5:00 pm for a BBQ, fair and the spectacular Vermont National Guard 40th Army Band. At dusk, let the spectacular fireworks begin!
Jeffersonville Farmers’ & Artisan Market- July 10th
Vermont’s own Jamie Lee Thurston is back for an encore performance from 5:30- 8:00 that is sure to entertain the whole family. Come down early to enjoy a variety of local food trucks, vendors and enjoy a fun evening of music.
