Dear SNHA Homeowners,
The Fall season is here. We are immersed in warm dry days, cool nights and surrounded by nature’s pallet of Autumn beauty. As we get closer to the winter season, we wanted to remind our homeowners enrolled in Smugglers’ Rental Program about making sure they have a plan for all improvements and replacements needed for the Quality Home Program. Action list items need to be completed by June 1, 2022. If you are looking for assistance on this or any home service needs, please contact Deej Meegan, SNHA
Project Manager deej@snha.net.
Cambridge Tax Bill Reminder
Rob Nagler, SNHA Board Member
It is getting to be tax season for real estate taxes in Vermont. According to the Cambridge Village office, all tax bills have been mailed. Last year, a number of homeowners reported issues receiving their tax bills. For that reason, SNHA is sending out this message. If you have not received your bill, or do not receive it shortly, please contact the Town of Cambridge at (802) 644-2251.
Please pay attention to the due date of November 15 for taxes to be paid. Payment must be received in the Village offices by that date, not just postmarked. We will send out another reminder of taxes due at the beginning of November.

Cambridge Food Bank Update
Our July 3rd Dessert social event was an absolute success! There were 96 adults and 5 children in attendance, who conversed while enjoying delicious treats from the Waffle Wagon food truck. Smugglers’ provided additional ambiance with a live acoustic performance by Sergio, a Smugglers’ favorite!
We would like to thank Stefanie Lang, SNHA Bookkeeper, for all her hard work assisting in coordinating this wonderful event!
SNHA is pleased to report that the full owners donated $2,325 to the Cambridge Food Shelf, and Smugglers matched that amount for a total of $4,650.00. Thank you to all for your generosity!
RFID/Salto Lock Update
The fiber optic cable and guest wi-fi project will be completed by the beginning of 2021-2022 ski-season. We will see significant increases in our bandwidth from 7 MBPS per account to 20 MBPS for each device.   The last phase of the fiber optic cable will conclude in mid-October.  The remaining hardware for the guest Wi-Fi will be installed in the data center in October and testing of all components will conclude by late November/early December.
Presently, the RFID locks that are installed are stand-alone units. Communication/gateway devices chosen, being light switch (non-energy management) or thermostat (energy management), will be completed in six weeks.
Smugglers’ will be mailing out new homeowner keys for those who have upgraded to the new SALTO lock. If you visit prior to this mailing, please see the Guest Service Desk for temporary keys. Additionally, you may pickup your homeowner keys at the security office during your stay.
