Do you feel the recent chill in the air? That means fall is upon us here in Vermont. Warm days, cool nights as the mountain transforms into beautiful color. While we all are still adjusting to life with the threat of Covid, SNHA is moving forward with fall maintenance work in preparation for the 20-21 ski season. We look forward to assisting you in both your home and building work this year so contact us for details and secure your spot on the schedule. We will do the rest.

SNHA Homeowner Belonging Remove/Storage- Update

As anticipated the winter preparations for renting homes are identical to the summer protocols, for homes that have not yet prepared for rental guests they need to have all comforters, extra blankets, pillows, knickknacks, etc. removed by 12/1/2020.  While it is still impossible to know when operations will return to pre-Covid conditions it is anticipated that the items removed will be replaced again to have individually decorated homes.

For those homeowners who have opted to stay in the rental program for the summer and requested the assistance of SNHA to remove and store their belongings, please contact Andy andy@snha.net to arrange for pickup. The storage rental was meant to be short term and to allow homeowners time to make personal arrangements to visit the resort and retrieve their items from storage. While travel restrictions are ever changing, the SNHA office will make every effort for continued assistance and pickup options. There are some who blocked their homes for the summer and wish to open up for rentals for the coming winter.  If you will need assistance from SNHA to accomplish that removal task, please email your request to Joe joe@snha.net. We have several options to make available to you.

Beware of Email Phishing Scams

Reports from Smugglers’ is that email phishing scams are circulating asking homeowners for payment information. Please beware of any emails asking you to provide any personal information from you. Even if they appear to be from Smugglers’ staff or from SNHA staff, don’t open any attachments if you are unsure! Neither Smugglers’ nor SNHA office will request personal payment information when sending out statement information. If you receive a request for payment and you are in doubt, send a new separate email to the person asking for your information using an email address that you trust, or call the SNHA Office at (802) 644- 5865.
