Real Estate Update

Dear Homeowners:

We’d like to give you a brief update on real estate related issues as they relate to our full owner homes in Smugglers Notch Resort. As reported to you recently, the SNHA Board has launched an effort to determine the merits of appealing to the Town of Cambridge, the tax assessed values on full owner homes within the resort. Several Regimes have indicated an interest and are calling meetings of their homeowners via teleconference to discuss interest.

Part of this effort has led us to discover several local real estate agents in the area who are listing Smugglers’ Notch Resort homes for resale, and we would like to make you aware of current listings with them, as well as those you will find at the Smugglers’ Resort site. Below you will find the names of several agents and links to their sites with their listings and the homes they represent.

As you can guess sales during the past year have been few and far between. You may view a list of homes sold since 2006 that we have obtained from the Cambridge Town records which we have posted on the SNHA.net site (see below).

We hope you find this information helpful and will update you on the status of the tax appeal project as we get further into the process.
